Album commemorates the launching of the Liberty ship, SS. Edwin C. Musick. Photographs depict the ship; Capt. Edwin C. Musick (first Pan American Airways pilot and first ocean flying Captain; his wife Cleo; Captain Tilton giving a eulogy; and six group portraits of attendees at the ceremony. Typewritten articles include the agenda for the event; eulogy given by Capt. Tilton; and an article from the San Francisco Junior Chamber of Commerce with the history of Capt. Musick's flying career. Also a clipping from the Bridgeport, Connecticut Post-Telegram, dated April 2, 1944, quoting the previous article.
